Assessment Report (Star) Award

The National Association of Waterproofing and Structural Repair Contractors (NAWSRC) is excited to announce a new consumer-rated award program, which honors NAWSRC members who provide exemplary products or service.

The STAR (Service and Technicians Assessment Report) Award will recognize technicians and vendors in the waterproofing and structural repair industry who receive a high overall rating on four criteria, as judged by consumers who have actually used their products and/or services. Unlike some other rating services, consumers will not pay a subscription fee to submit a rating or receive a referral.

NAWSRC Certified Specialists are recognized as members of the industry who have demonstrated superior knowledge and dedication to the ideals of the association. They demonstrate to their customers their commitment to the best in technical skills and devotion to the highest ethical standards.

NAWSRC offers three certifications. Members can become a Certified Waterproofing Specialist (CWS), an Above-Grade Waterproofing Specialist (CAWS), or a Structural Repair Specialist (CSRS).

It is not easy be become certified. To qualify, they must have been a member of the waterproofing industry for at least four years and their company must have been a member of NAWSRC for at least one year. They must demonstrate high industry standards and dedication to continuing their professional education. After qualifying, they are tested in various technical areas including safety and ethics. Their obligation to the ideals of the program does not stop with achieving certification. To maintain their certification, they must obtain 15 hours of continuing professional education every two years. Certification examinations are given during the Annual Convention and Mid-Year Meeting only.

• Uphold ethics

Local Business Owner Receives Citation from Nassau County Comptroller

This is a prestigious award that shows the customers’ appreciation for exceptional service in four categories including quality of work, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism.
